已經影響了超過99個國家各大小機構的勒索軟件WannaCry， 傳染的方法不需要用戶作任何動作，只需視窗軟件未有更新。電腦受感染後，會嘗試感染公司內部網絡的所有電腦，將所有檔案加密，然後勒索。鑒於事件的嚴重性，Netfront 作出了以下步驟。

• 我們更新了防火牆，暫時隔斷了所有連接埠 139 以及 445 的外來流量。 這個措施會實施兩星期，會影響貴公司與外界的 Windows File Sharing。若果貴公司需要於期間使用連接埠 139 及 445，請與我們聯絡。
• 於我們網絡上的所有儲存，我們更新了備份政策，保留七天的備份。 若果貴公司的電郵或檔案儲存在 Netfront 的網絡上，有需要可聯絡我們找回最多七天前的備份。

We have adopted these policies in response to the spread of the ransomware WannaCry which has affected Windows computers across more than 99 countries.

• We will drop all traffic to port 139 and 445 for two weeks. This will affect your internal computer doing Windows File Sharing with external computers. If you need to use port 139 and 445 during these two weeks, please contact us.
• We have updated our backup policy to 7 days. Which means we have 7 daily copies of your files and emails, if stored on our network. If you need recovery of data up to 7 days ago, please contact us.
